A hunter injured the deer in the state of Oregon, USA. The injured deer attacked the hunter with his horns one day later and killed him.
According to the report in Independent, 66-year-old Mark David was hunting with arrows on a private land in Tillamook county. David injured a moose before Saturday, but was unable to locate it, police said.
Returning to the field on Sunday, David encountered injured waiting deer.
However, the deer attacked David, who wanted to kill him, and horned him from the neck area.
The police force made a statement regarding the incident.
“Although the landowner tried to help David, he died as a result of the fatal wounds,” the Oregon police said in a statement.
It was also announced that the landowner killed the injured animal.
About a year ago, a very similar incident occurred in the US state of Arkansas, 66-year-old hunter Thomas Alexander died as a result of horn blows when he approached the deer he thought he had killed.
